United Yousef Mohammed Naghi Company introduced US manufacturer Rheem’s air conditioning units at a recent ceremony in Park Hyatt, Jeddah.
US Consul General in Jeddah Ryan M. Gliha and President of United Yousef Mohammed Naghi Company Ammar Yousef Naghi unveiled the product. The company also announced the launch of a training center, in addition to maintenance and sales centers.
In his speech, Naghi said the launch of Rheem air conditioners is in line with Vision 2030, which aims to develop retail trade and enhance the Kingdom’s GDP. The partnership with the US company will also result in the transfer of technology to Saudi Arabia, he said.
Naghi said maintenance and training centers will meet customer demand for quality control and after-sales services. “In addition, the company has also set up a training center to qualify Saudi men and women in maintenance and sales work in preparation for acquiring the American (Rheem) technology in Saudi Arabia,” Naghi added.
Consul General Gliha stressed on the growing economic relations and industrial exchange between the Kingdom and the US.
He said the launch of Rheem in Saudi Arabia through United Yousef Mohammed Naghi Company underlines the deep trade partnership and the historical relationship between the two friendly countries.
Gliha said he is pleased with the confidence of Saudi traders in American products and is looking forward to more trade and investment partnerships.
“Any Saudi trader looking for investment opportunities and commercial partnership should not hesitate to contact the Consulate General of the United States,” he added.
Rheem participated in the recent Saudi construction show “The Big 5 Saudi” held in Jeddah.
The launch ceremony was attended by a number of Arab and foreign diplomats in Saudi Arabia, businessmen and media persons.
